What we do
Four kinds of design, one way of working.
Product Design
From a concept to something people want to pick up — form, usability, and the commercial case behind it.
Cultural & Creative
Characters, collectibles, and museum or brand merchandise that carry a story worth keeping.
Industrial Design
Form, CMF, and user experience for electronics, appliances, and equipment that earn their place.
Mechanical Design
Enclosures, tolerances, and assembly resolved so the design survives its first production run.
Project
See all projectsObjects made to be lived with.
Hearth Series
A family of home electronics held together by one calm visual language.
Vitals One
A clinical device made approachable for the people who hold it every day.
Touch your Taiwan
A collectible series drawn from Taiwan’s everyday visual culture.
Daily Rites
Lifestyle objects that carry a local story without shouting about it.
AI Server Air Duct
Thermal ducting for AI server racks — airflow, assembly, and tooling resolved together.
First Things
Toys for the first year, designed around what small hands can actually do.
Our Process
From insight to impact.
Discover
We start with the people who will use it — context, habits, and the gap worth designing into.
Design
Sketches, CMF, and fast physical studies until the idea holds up in the hand.
Develop
Mechanical design, tolerances, and assembly — resolved alongside the form, not after it.
Hand over
A complete package: drawings, CMF specification, and a bill of materials ready for tooling.
When a design is ready to be made, production runs through IDMockup, our manufacturing partner since 1992 — which is why cost and tooling sit in the conversation from the first sketch.

A studio shaped by people, culture, and curiosity.
Insa designs objects people keep. Some are products on a shelf, some are characters with a story, some are the quiet mechanics inside a housing — and often all three at once.
We work in four languages across East and Southeast Asia — less a matter of translation than of designing for the places a product actually lands.
